In a short summary the movie presents the story of a former prime minister who had decided to publish his memoirs (I know the name of the movie isThe Ghost Writer so we could expect that the prime minister can be a secondary character, well it isn't as you will see in the movie). He contracts a professional ghost writer to finish them in time to be published in the scheduled date. The professional ghostwriter (Ewan McGregor) thought in the moment he was hired that this will be a mundane boring task to transcript only what the former prime minister (Pierce Brosnan) will say. As you will see from the movie he was as wrong. He finds out that the previous ghost writer has suffered an accidental death. Step by step he will correlate the death of the previous predecessor with the information he has gathered from his manuscript. There are deep dark secret that when made public could threaten political careers and life of many people involved. The adventures he embarks just by starting to write these memoirs are hard to describe in words.
